Leah Gilbert Morris is an export credit professional with more than two decades of experience working at the intersection of international trade finance, environment, social and governance (ESG), and international relations.
Leah currently serves as interim Vice-President of Public Affairs & International Relations at Export Development Canada (EDC), where she oversees the organization’s critical relationships with the Canadian Government, Export Credit Agencies and multilateral organizations, and other external stakeholders including those from industry and civil society.
With 20 years’ experience at EDC and its subsidiary, FinDev Canada, Leah has also previously served in the Canadian government (Foreign Affairs & International Trade; Finance Canada) and has experience in the Canadian commercial banking industry and two multilateral development finance institutions.
Leah has a Master’s Degree in Geography and Environmental Studies, and a Bachelor of Science (Hon.) with a Minor in Economics from Carleton University.
